Because it’s never too early to fall in love with horses.
Is your little one dreaming of their very first pony ride? Looking for a safe, hands-on experience where young children can explore the magical world of horses? The Mini Rider Program at Chagrin Valley Farms is the perfect place to start!

📍 Every Saturday | 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
(Note: Some sessions may vary slightly during horse show dates. Please refer to our website for updated schedules. Spectators are welcome to come watch and support their favorite ponies!)
🌡️ Held Year-Round in Our Heated Barn
🐴 What to Expect:
Each magical session includes:
A guided walk-through of our working barn
Feeding treats to our friendliest horses 🍎
Grooming and brushing a gentle pony 🧽
Braiding manes and adding colorful bows 🎀
Painting pony toes – a crowd favorite! 🎨
A safe, beginner pony ride in the saddle 🪶
This is a fun, safe, and enriching way for your child to bond with horses—and for parents to share in the experience.
Mini Rider Program
$300/Month
💛 Program Details:
Designed for children ages 2–5, each accompanied by one participating adult
Active adult participation is required
Additional adults must be approved by the office in advance
Includes all Saturday sessions in the month
Note: During weeks that we are open, you will receive your lesson as scheduled. If your lesson falls on a show day, you will have the opportunity to audit the show and receive a behind-the-scenes breakdown. We have a 60-day cancellation policy.
